Pioneer Mind

In the 18th century, an English woman planned to travel to Germany. However, she wanted to make sure that there was a private bathroom in her hotel room. She sent a letter to the hotel inquiring about the WC. The German receptionist had no idea what a WC was, so he asked the local priest who spoke English. The priest said that the WC surely meant the Wayside Chapel which was very famous in Germany. He sent her the following letter:

My lady, you will surely be happy to know that the WC is located 10 miles from the hotel, but unfortunately is closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Therefore, you should make an initial plan about when you intend to go during the week. It is a wonderful place with new seats and is surrounded by lovely trees and flowers. My daughter was also married in the WC and it was there that she met her husband.
We have also installed a new little bell on the door that rings whenever anyone enters.
The WC is a large place which can accommodate up to 200 people, so you will never feel crowded when you go there.
I will look forward to escorting your ladyship there myself and seating you in a place where you can be seen by everyone.
